Construction of thousand capacity holding center in Kanchanpur reaches its final stage
Kanchanpur: The construction work of a thousand-capacity holding center has reached the final stage in Salghari area of Mahendranagar, the district headquarters of Kanchanpur. As per the decision of the cabinet meeting of the Government of Nepal last April, the construction work of the 1,000-capacity holding center in the Saldhari area, which is supposed to be constructed by the Nepal Army, has reached the final stage.
Hanuman Construction Pvt. Ltd., which has been awarded the contract for the construction of the holding center by the Nepal Army, has stated that the construction work of the center has reached the final stage. According to the company, bed fitting is currently underway. The company has also completed the work of placing transmitters for power supply in the power holding center. The holding center has progressed more than ninety percent.
The construction work of the holding center is being carried out by Bhagatpur Barracks, the outer base of Shree No. 25 of the army. The Bahini has been monitoring and supervising the construction work. According to the army, the construction work has been facilitated by paying special attention to delay or construction work. The construction company that got the contract for the holding center for Rs 290 million has paid around Rs 15 million.
The permanent holding center, built on an area of three bigahas, has 22 separate blogs. It is believed that the construction of the holding center will help in controlling the growing corona infection in the district.
