Pfizer vaccination campaign in Dadeldhura
Dhangadhi: The Pfizer vaccination campaign against Coronavirus, which was scheduled to start today in eight districts including Dadeldhura, has been postponed. The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that the vaccination campaign has been postponed due to non-receipt of syringes.
The ministry had decided to vaccinate children between the ages of 2 and 17 in eight districts including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavre, Chitwan, Sindhuli, Dadeldhura and Surkhet. The vaccination campaign has been postponed due to non-receipt of 0.3 mm syringe and dilute (solvent) under 664,060 doses of vaccine available through Covax facility. Sagar Dahal has given the information.
He said that the solution will be available on Wednesday the 29th and the syringe will be available soon. The ministry has informed that the vaccination program will be started as soon as the syringes are received.
