Transport Office Kailali will not register new electric rickshaws

Dhangadhi: The Transport Office Kailali has stated that new electric rickshaws will not be registered from Wednesday. Laxman Shah, head of the Kailali Transport Office, told Dinesh Khabar that the new electric rickshaws will not be registered, in the letter sent by the State's Ministry of Physical Infrastructure on Tuesday.

The Kailali Transport Office had been demanding the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality to stop the new registration due to the large number of rickshaws.

The Kailali Transport Office has stated that only the registration of electric rickshaws has been stopped. According to the Kailali Transport Office, there are 5,414 private electric tempo rickshaws and 4,889 public tempo rickshaws.
