Dhangadhi: A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (DCMC) has been held in Kailali to prevent the transmission of the new variant of COVID-19 Omicron. According to the District Administration Office, Kailali, a meeting of the DCMC was held after the infection of Omicron was also seen in Nepal. According to Shivaraj Joshi, information officer of the office, the implementation of past decisions has been reviewed in the meeting.
"It has been decided to issue a notice through the district administration office not to crowd during gatherings and celebrations other than daily worship / lessons, adoration at places of religious and cultural importance, In coordination with the public health office, it has been decided to request the local level to vaccinate the remaining citizens against corona." he said.
It has also been decided to tighten the traffic by making the health desks set up at Trinagar and Khakraula checkpoints more organized, said Information Officer Joshi.
