Commercial potato cultivation taking flight amongst women of Dhangadhi

Commercial potato cultivation has been flourishing in Kailali, which is importing millions of potatoes from India. Potato farming is increasing in various parts of the district. The possibility of the potato coming from India is increasing by the number of farmers who are attracted to it. Twenty-seven women of Vishalnagar of Dhangadi have started cultivating commercial potatoes. Some are working on their own land whereas some lease land for it.
