Robbery in the name of service outside the Labour and Employment Office Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Rajendra Saund of Gauri Ganga Municipality Ward No. 5 of Kailali came to Dhangadhi on Tuesday for a labour permit. Nepalis in foreign employment have been forced to pay more because they do not know about taxes and the amount they have to pay to the government. Most of the unregistered firms have been charging arbitrary amounts. They have been charging different fees according to the service recipients. Another service recipient told Dinesh Khabar, "I have paid Rs 400 for the service fee." Although illegal firms have been collecting the arbitrary amount from service recipients outside the labor office, it has not been regulated.

It has complained that the labor office, local level, and local administration have ignored the regulation. Janak Ukheda, acting chief of the Labor and Employment Office, Dhangadhi, has also admitted that there is no regulation.
