14 gamblers arrested in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested 14 gamblers along with Rs.50,000, in Dhangadhi. Police arrested them while they were playing cards in Kul Bahadur Chaudhary's house in ward no. 7 of the sub-metropolitan on Monday night.

According to the District Police Office, Kailali, 14,720 Indian rupees, 25,950 Nepali rupees and three packs of cards were recovered from them. Police said that further investigation is underway on them. Among the arrested are Ishwar Chaudhary, 30, Prem Chaudhary, 33, Ram Niwas Chaudhary, 35, Ammar Rana, 30, Dinesh Rana, 28, Lal Chaudhary, 31, Krishna Prasad Pandey, 40, and Ramesh Khati Chhetri, 21.

Similarly, Maya Ram Chaudhary, 32, Hari Chand, 43, Naresh Chaudhary, 34, Aadesh Chaudhary, 28, Kul Chaudhary, 31, and Aspak Khan, 24, of Bailey have been living in the same place.
