Dhangadhi: A total of 32 people's representatives of Kailali have joined the CPN (Unified Socialist) party.

They left the CPN-UML and chose the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party led by Madhav Kumar Nepal after appearing at the District Election Office in Kailali. District Coordinating Committee Kailali Deputy Chief Sundari Devi Chaudhary, Godawari Municipality Deputy Mayor Ratna Kadayat and Mohanyal Rural Municipality Vice Chairman Pujadevi Budhamagar have identified themselves in favor of the CPN (Unified Socialist).

Similarly, five ward chairpersons have also chosen the Unified Socialists. Ram Bajari Chaudhary, chairman of Dhangadhi Sub-Municipality ward no. 14, Jang Bahadur Bik, ward chairman of Gauriganga Municipality ward no. 5, Karna Singh Bohara, chairperson of Godawari municipality ward no 5. He has identified himself in favor of the unified socialist. According to the Kailali Election Office, the other 24 ward members have chosen the Unified Socialist Party.

The number of state MPs who have won from the UML and have joined the CPN (Unified Socialist) has reached 13. Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Dirgha Bahadur Sodari, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Purna Joshi, Minister for Social Development Lal Bahadur Khadka, Former Minister Maya Bhatt, Ministers of State Chunkumari Chaudhary, Manakumari Saund, Chief Whip Durga Kumari Kami, Former Minister of State Prakash Rawal, State MP Tara Lama Tamang, Kulbir Chaudhary , Amar Bahadur Saud, Bal Bahadur Sodari and Sushila Budhathoki have already identified themselves in favor of the new party led by Madhav Nepal.
