Two people injured in the Darchula landslide taken to Dhangadhi by helicopter

Dhangadhi: Two people injured in a landslide in Darchula have been taken to Dhangadhi in a helicopter for treatment.

Janak Parki and Ujeli Dadal of Duhu Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 of the district have been brought to Dhangadhi by a Nepal Army helicopter. Both of them will be treated in Dhangadhi, said Manohar Bhatta, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Darchula.

Three people have been killed in floods and landslides. Two others have gone missing. The floods have also washed away houses, bridges and micro-hydropower plants. The floods and landslides on Sunday night damaged property in various areas of Pari Duhu and Mahakali municipalities.
