Godawari River floods and damages various places in Kailali
Dhangadhi: The Godawari River has caused erosion at various places in Kailali due to incessant rains on Thursday night.
Shivraj Joshi, information officer at the District Administration Office, Kailali, said that a wooden bridge in Godawari Municipality-4, a grocery and snack shop owned by Ganesh Dutt Pandey near Durga Temple and a waiting room were flooded.
Similarly, paddy planted in 5/6 katthas owned by Man Bahadur Dhami in Ward No. 12 of the same municipality was destroyed by the flood of Khade Khola, he added.
