Mahakali Highway and Jaya Prithvi Highway blocked due to landslide

Dhangadhi: The Mahakali Highway and Jaya Prithvi Highway have been blocked due to incessant rains.

A landslide has blocked the road at SurnayaRural Municipality- 3 Dharamghar of Baitadi on the Satbanjha-Gokuleshwor road section under the Mahakali Highway. According to the District Police Office, Baitadi, vehicles are at halt in the middle of the road due to the landslide.

Attempts are being made to clear the muck from the landslide, police said. Similarly, another landslide has blocked the Dholyamod road of Baitadi under Jaya Prithvi Highway.
