Houses in Bajura at risk of landslides

Dhangadhi: Thirty-five houses in Pata of Bajura are at risk of landslides.

Ward Chairman Ram Bahadur Karki said that 35 houses in Badimalika Municipality-1 of the district are at risk of landslides. A house in Pata had collapsed due to heavy rains on July 10.

The locals are living under tents as there is a risk of collapse of 14 other houses around that house. At the request of the locals, 20 tents were distributed to 20 families in coordination with ward no 1 office and the support of Badimalika Municipality.
