Seti Provincial Hospital reports 273 new cases of Coronavirus

Dhangadhi: PCR tests conducted at Seti Provincial Hospital confirmed the Coronavirus infection in 273 more people.

In the last 24 hours, 564 samples were examined in the laboratory of Seti Provincial Hospital and 273 people reported positive, said Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of the hospital.

Of the infected, only 44 are from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan, while 206 people are from Kailali and 23 are from others districts, said Information Officer Shrestha. At present, 47 patients of Coronavirus are being treated at the hospital, said Information Officer Shrestha.

Of them, 5 are being treated on a ventilator, 20 in the ICU while 25 people are on oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 11 people have returned home from Seti Hospital after recovering and five new patients have been admitted to the hospital, said Information Officer Shrestha.

Similarly, three people lost their life at Seti Provincial Hospital in the last 24 hours. Currently, 32 people including 22 men and 10 women are undergoing treatment at the emergency ward of the hospital.
