Locals of Bhajani stop a theft in action

Dhangadhi: The locals of Bhajani Municipality chase a thief at midnight.

The thief had entered Makiram Chaudhary's barn  at around 1 pm last night in Mohanpur of Bhajani Municipality-2 of the district to steal his two calves.

Ganga Chaudhary, a local, said that the villagers retaliated and pulled the calves from the thief. But those involved in the theft fled. According to him, the price of a pair of bulls is currently between Rs 120,000 to Rs 150,000. Earlier, a bull was reported to be stolen in Mohanpur.
