One killed, 17 injured in Achham bus accident

Dhangadhi: A bus coming from Achham to Dhangadhi has met with an accident, killing one and injuring at least 17 passengers.

According to the District Police Office, Achham, the bus (Na 4 Kha 9972) fell 60 meters off the road in Chaurpati Rural Municipality Ward No. 7 of the district.

Eighteen people were injured in the accident, one of them died later undergoing treatment. The bus fell off the road along the  Sanphe-Choukhutte road section.
