Bolanya Thali rescues a child from Bajura

Dhangadhi: Bolanya Thali, a youth charity, has rescued a helpless child from Bajura.

Himal BK, 9, of Budhiganga Municipality-10 of Bajura has been rescued, according to Thali. Paras Rawal, co-coordinator of Bajura unit of Bolanya Thali, has taken the boy to Dhangadhi. According to Yadav Joshi, coordinator of Bolanya Thali, the child has been handed over to the Women and Children Safe House in Attaria, Kailali. According to Bolanya Thali, BK is an orphan who is making a living by beating ballast.

Bolanya Thali is a non-profit organization that has been carrying out creative agitations as a civil movement in the Far-Western states. Bolanya Thali previously organised a procession at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu and a musical struggle program along with Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba in a bid to draw attention towards long-stalled West Seti hydel project.

They also held discussions with 13 MPs from Far-west in the federal parliament. Similarly, a demonstration was held this afternoon to resume the construction of West Seti hydel project along the Seti River. Also, a total of 100,000 letters were collected and addressed to the Prime Minister.
