A man reported missing in Far-West dies in India

Dhangadhi : A young man from Kanchanpur who was reported missing from his house in September died in India. Ramesh Damai, 22, of Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 4 of the district died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sampurnanagar, India, according to police.

Chief Inspector of Police Kailash Bista of the Area Police Office, Tribhuvanbasti said that he had gone missing from his house on September 15. Police had stopped the search operation after receiving information from his relative who was working at a hotel in Sampurnanagar Khiri, Uttar Pradesh regarding his arrival in Uttar Pradesh.

Inspector Bista said that the deceased was unwell and died while undergoing treatment. His body has been brought to Nepal for cremation.
