Fire breakout in a vehicle involved with timber theft in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A fire broke out in a vehicle involved in timber theft in Kanchanpur.

According to Amar Bahadur Thapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, the vehicle (Ma 1 Cha 301) parked at the District Forest Office of Bhimdatta Municipality-4 caught fire at around 1 pm last night.

He said that the engine of the vehicle was destroyed due to the fire and a police team put out the fire. Spokesperson Thapa said that Bir Bahadur Dhami of Jogbudha in Parshuram Municipality-12 of Dadeldhura was arrested about a month ago and his vehicle was seized by the police and handed over to the Forest Office.
