17 people test positive for Coronavirus in Far-West

Dhangadhi: A laboratory test conducted at the Seti Provincial Hospital has detected Coronavirus in 17 people from the far-western region, including nine from Kailali.

In the last 24 hours, 287 people were tested for the virus and 17 reported positive. According to Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of the provincial hospital, the infection has been detected in five people from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis.

According to him, the virus was detected in people from Godawari Municipality, Chure Rural Municipality, Shuklaphanta Municipality, Punarwas Municipality of Kanchanpur and Mellekh-6 of Achham.

Nine people, including six women and three men, are currently undergoing treatment at the Corona Treatment Center under the provincial hospital.
