Apihimal Rural Municipality plans to reopen educational institutions

Darchula: The Apihimal Municipality of Darchula is holding discussions to reopen schools in the rural municipality. The municipality has stated that it is preparing to reopen educational institutions as there are no cases of Coronavirus in the rural municipality.

Discussions are under way to reopen the educational institutions that have been closed since the first week of April due to the lockdown, according to the Village Education Branch. The Rural Municipality has stated that the school will operate with health vigilance.

The students have not attended classes in five months. There are 1,981 students studying in 23 schools including four secondary schools and 19 basic schools in Apihimal Rural Municipality.
