A concrete bridge to be constructed over Karnali River in Bajura

Bajura: A concrete bridge is to be built over the Karnali River flowing through Bajura.

The process of building the bridge has moved ahead after the Department of Roads invited tenders worth Rs 6.6 million. According to the Department of Roads, the concrete bridge will be built between Swamikartik Rural Municipality-4 and Himali Rural Municipality-6.

The Department of Roads has stated that the design and estimate for the bridge construction has been prepared and the process has started.

Karna Thapa, who is also a former minister, has said that the Karnali Bridge was also chosen in the 2072 BS Parliamentary Plan. "It simply came to our notice then." He said that the bridge is being built with the consent of all.
