SP Rajiv Basnet to investigate the death of Roshan BK

An investigation committee has been formed under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Rajiv Basnet of the Armed Police Force, Dhangadhi to investigate the death of a 19-year-old boy who was found dead on Friday. While he was in the custody of the District Police Office. 

The committee comprising two police inspectors will prepare a report within a few days and take action accordingly, police said. Roshan BK, 19, who was arrested from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No.1 on 7 September in connection with the theft, committed suicide in the toilet. He committed suicide in the toilet of the detention cell, said Pratik Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kailali.  However, relatives of the deceased suspect the incident to be murder instead of suicide.
