295 active cases of Coronavirus in Dhangadhi

The number of cases of Coronavirus has reached 295 in Dhangadhi. According to the Health Department of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis, 295 people have been confirmed infected in all 19 wards so far. Public Health Inspector at the Health Branch Laxmi Raj Upadhyaya said 60 people are infected in Ward No. 5. Public Health Inspector Upadhyaya said that about 42 percent that tested positive had no travel history.

Of those confirmed infected, 140 are locals. Their travel history has not been traced. Upadhyaya told Dinesh Khabar, “As of Sunday, 199 people have returned home after recovering from Coronavirus.  The highest number of infections has been confirmed in 60 people in Ward No. 5. Infection has been found in 38 people in Ward No. 12, 32 people in Ward No. 1 and 25 people in Ward No. 14. Similarly, 10 people in Ward No. 2, 26 people in Ward No. 3, 18 people in Ward No. 4, 7 people in Ward No. 6, 13 people in Ward No. 7,  6 people  in Ward No. 8, 9 people in Ward No. 9, 3 people in Ward No. 10, 8 people in Ward No. 11, 4 people in Ward No. 13, 7 people in Ward No. 15, 3 people in Ward No. 16, 1 person in Ward No. 17, 18 people in Ward No. 18 and 7 people in Ward No. 19 have been infected." The wards of three others has not been revealed.
