31 additional case of Coronavirus in Far-West
Dhangadhi: 31 people tested positive for Coronavirus on Sunday in Far-West. In the laboratory tests conducted at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dadeldhura Hospital and Doti Hospital, seven people reported positive.
On Sunday, 753 samples were examined across three laboratories. 371 samples were examined in Seti Provincial Hospital and eight of them have been confirmed infected.
According to the hospital's information officer Dilip Kumar Shrestha, the infection has been confirmed in three persons from Shuklaphanta Municipality-11 of Kanchanpur, one from Ward No. 2, one from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 2 of Kailali, and one from Kailari Rural Municipality Ward No. 3.
Similarly, one person from Tikapur Municipality-7 of Kailali and one person from Krishnapur Municipality Ward No. 9 of Kanchanpur have also been infected, said Information Officer Shrestha. Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 12 more people at Dadeldhura laboratory.
Ishwori Prasad Bhusal, in-charge of the laboratory, said that 10 people from Bajhang and two from Dadeldhura tested positive of 6 September. According to him, 10 people from Bungal Municipality of Bajhang and two people from Amargadhi Municipality of Dadeldhura have been infected.
According to him, 281 throat swab samples have been tested in the laboratory on Sunday. A laboratory test at the Doti District Hospital confirmed the infection in 11 people.
According to the hospital, 11 out of 101 people were tested for corona and the infection was confirmed. The hospital's laboratory in-charge Shaurabh Shrestha said that seven men and four women were infected with the Coronavirus.
According to him, the virus has been confirmed in 11 people of Turmakhand village municipality of Achham. Along with this, the number of corona infections in the far west has reached 6,210.
