Coronavirus patients found across all wards in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: The number of people infected with Coronavirus in Dhangadhi has reached 249. According to Laxmi Raj Upadhyaya, Public Health Inspector at the Health Branch of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis, 79 of the infected people do not have any travel history, which is 32% of the total infected. According to Public Health Inspector Upadhyaya, an infected person with no travel history has died. Six people on tested positive on Tuesday while, only two of the infected had a travel history.

Amongst those infected without a travel history are local businessmen, teachers, health workers, police personnel, bank and financial institution employees, sanitation workers, legal practitioners and some locals, according to the Health Department.

According to the sub-metropolitan, the virus has spread in all the wards of Dhangadhi. Ward No. 1 has 27 people including 9 women and 18 men, Ward No. 2 has 9 women and 6 men, Ward No. 3 has 6 women and 15 men, Ward No. 4 has 17 women and 10 men, Ward No. 5 has 12 women and 16 men, Ward No. 6 has 4 men and 1 woman, Ward No. 7 has 5 women and 7 men, Ward No. 8 has 3 women and 4 men, Ward No. 9 has 3 women and 6 men, Ward No. 10 has 3 men, Ward No. 11 has three women and five men, Ward No. 12 has 14 women and 24 men, Ward No. 13 has 4 men, Ward No. 14 has 12 women and 13 men, Ward No. 15 has 2 women and 4 men, Ward No. 16 has 3 men, Ward No. 17 has 1 woman,  Ward No. 18 has 8 women and 10 men, Ward No. 19 has four women and three men.
