More than 33,000 swab samples collected in far west, 3,000 reports yet to come

Dhangadhi: More than 33,000 people have been tested for Coronavirus in Far-West by collecting swabs samples from various areas. A total of  33,235 samples were across Far-West and sent to various laboratories across the country.

According to the Directorate of Health, 16,740 samples were examined Seti Provincial Hospital's laboratory, 13,725 in the National Public Health Laboratory and other laboratories in Kathmandu and 2,586 in Dadeldhura Laboratory.

According to the State Health Directorate, 36,244 swabs in Far-West have been collected so far.

The reports of 3,009 people who have been tested is yet to come. There are 2,018 swab yet to be tested at the National Public Health Laboratory in Teku, 755 at the Dhangadhi Laboratory and 236 at the Dadeldhura Laboratory.

In the Far-Western states, RDT tests of 124,423 people has been conducted so far. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of Coronavirus cases in the Far-West has reached 4,411.
