455 people discharged Far-West after recovering from Coronavirus

Dhangadhi: An additional of 455 people infected with Coronavirus have been discharged in the Far-Western region. According to the State's Social Development Ministry, 455 people from different districts of the Far-West returned home on Sunday after recovering from Coronavirus.

Chief of the Health Division Narendra Karki, who is also the spokesperson of the ministry, said that 287 people were discharged from Kailali and 168 from Bajura.
With the discharge of 455 people on Sunday, the number of people returning home from isolation and quarantine after recovering from Coronavirus in the Far-West has reached 2751.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, there are 1,475 active cases in the state and 8 fatalities. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the highest number of infections has been confirmed in Kailali district numbering 993 people so far.

Similarly, 662 people have been confirmed to be infected in Achham, 657 in Doti and 619 in Bajura, according to the ministry office. Five hundred and fourteen people from Kanchanpur, 303 from Dadeldhura, 279 from Baitadi, 179 from Bajhang and 20 from Darchula have been confirmed to be infected.
