1,659 people infected with Coronavirus discharged from hospitals and quarantines in Far- West
A total of 1,659 people infected with Coronavirus have been discharged from various hospitals and quarantine centers in Far- West. Narendra Karki, chief of the Health Division of the state's Social Development Ministry, said at a regular press briefing that 1,659 people infected with the virus were discharged on Thursday evening.
According to him, 45 people were from Achham, 8 from Tikapur Hospital and 4 from Kanchanpur were sent home on Thursday. According to the Ministry of Social Development, 390 people from Kanchanpur, 362 from Achham, 267 from Dadeldhura, 252 from Baitadi,157 from Doti, 129 from Kailali, 87 from Bajhang, 13 from Darchula and 2 from Bajura have been discharged.
Presently, 49 people infected with the virus are being treated in various hospitals in Far-West, while the remaining 2,200 are being treated in different quarantine centers at the local level. According to the ministry, 18 people are being treated in Mahakali Hospital, 13 in Tikapur Hospital, 10 in District Hospital Achham, 3 each in Malakheti Hospital and Seti Provincial Hospital and 49 in Doti Hospital.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of infected people in the Far West has reached 4,000.
