Commencement of PCR tests at Dadeldhura Hospital
The installation of the PCR machine purchased by Humanity Foundation Nepal and Far Western Society America by collecting donations was completed on Wednesday evening.
A team including Ramesh Shahi, in-charge of the laboratory at Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi and an engineer from Kathmandu are monitoring the accuracy of the PCR machine.
Ishwari Bhusal, lab in-charge of the Dadeldhura Hospital, told Dinesh Khabar that 12 people were tested on Thursday. Their samples will also be sent to Dhangadhi laboratory in Seti Provincial Hospital for re-testing to ensure its accuracy. Bhusal said that the reports of samples collected today, will come by 9 pm.
