Dadeldhura Hospital starts installation of PCR machine donated by Humanity Foundation
A PCR machine purchased by the Humanity Foundation is ready to be installed. The foundation handed over the machine to Karunkar Ojha, Hospital Development Committee Chairman on Sunday.
The installation began as soon as the machine reached the hospital on Monday morning. Medical Superintendent Jagadish Chandra Bista informed that the technicians are connecting the machines in a room near the hospital lab.
Ishwori Bhusal, lab in-charge of Dadeldhura Hospital said, “The biomedical engineer is working towards the machine installation. Machine setup is underway at the moment; it will take at least a week to install the machine. We will start the examinations thereafter. The machine can test 96 throat swabs at a time.”
