Grade 8 results improve in Dhangadhi, pass rate reaches 70.03 percent

Dhangadhi: A total of 70.03 percent of students have passed the annual Grade 8 examination in Dhangadhi, showing improvement compared to previous years.

In the previous academic year 2081, 61.58 percent (3,351) students had passed, while in the academic session 2080, the pass rate was 51.40 percent (3,028). Similarly, only 32.78 percent of students had passed in the academic session 2079. This year, there has been a notable improvement in results in both community and institutional schools.

According to the Education, Youth and Sports Division of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City, a total of 5,428 students from 113 community and institutional schools participated in the examination this year. Among them, 3,801 students passed in the first phase.

The Sub-metropolitan City stated that the improvement in results is due to better management of examinations, evaluation, and publication of results. Community schools have also increased their student pass percentage this year.
