A 22-year-old girl and a 26-year-old man from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No.14 who tested positive for Coronavirus have been admitted in the isolation ward of Panchodaya Mavic. Chairperson of Ward No. 14 Ram Bajari Chaudari said, “The risk of the virus spreading has increased due to lack of isolation facilities for the infected. Besides the two infected, there are 46 others that are kept in the same quarantine. All of them use the same toilet and tap. It has spread terror amongst the 46 people.”  The 26-year-old infected man informed that the people in the quarantine are not allowing him to use the washroom. After the Ministry of Health passed a new directive, the Seti Provincial Hospital sent them back saying they had no symptoms. According to the central government, an isolation ward is supposed to be away from dense settlements, with a capacity to accommodate more than 100 people, with complete arrangements of electricity, water, clean rooms and other basic amenities. The isolation wards are also supposed to maintain a distance of 75 square feet per bed. But the quarantines of Dhangadhi have been unable function accordingly.
