20 people rescued from Baitadi test positive for antibodies in Bajhang

The District Administration office of Bajhang conducted rapid test on 442 people on Friday where 20 people tested positive. Chief District officer Umesh Pandey confirms that the 20 positive cases are 8 people qurantined at Shiva Bhavani secondary school and 12 people qurantined at Buganl municipality after returning from India.

“Throat swabs were collected from 8 out of the 20 people which have been sent to Dhangadi for PCR tests, we are preparing to collect collect the remaining 12 throat swabs today. Earlier on Wednesday,  a person from Bajhang was tested positive for the rapid test but his PCR report was negative” said chief district officer Pandey . The reports of  nine other people who came in contact with him have also tested negative.
