Child injured after an explosive device detonated in Kanchanpur

A nine-year-old boy, Mahendra Nepali, was injured when an explosive device detonated in Dodhara of Mahakali Municipality Ward No. 3 on Wednesday morning.

A spokesperson at the District Police Office, DSP Rabindra Poudel, said, “The boy was injured while playing with a suspicious object found at Pateraghari of Mahakali Municipality Ward No 6. The boy injured both of his hands.

He has been brought to Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi for treatment. Police said that an investigation is underway to catch the culprit behind planting the explosive.
