State 1 chief minister Sherdhan Rai has pledged to seek local level cooperation in the implementation of projects to be launched by the state government.
During his remarks at the concluding session of the third meeting of the State Coordination Council organized by the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, state 1 here today, he stressed the need of bringing promised projects into practice.
Seeking a vital role of locals to make the upcoming national census and ongoing Nepal Visit Year 2020 successful, he shared about the government plan of forming a committee to monitor the status of projects. He made clear that the state government would come up with a substantive budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
According to him, district-based agricultural knowledge centers and livestock centers will be scrapped after the state government found its all structures. State minister for economic affairs and planning, Indra Bahadur Angbo, announced that the operation of government was not possible without revenue collection, seeking its escalation and effective implementation of revenue policy. Mayors/ chairs and deputy mayors/vice chairs of all local levels across the state 1, district coordination committee coordinators and administrative officers were present in the two-day meeting. (RSS)
