Sudurpaschim Chief Minister, Ministers to Donate One Month’s Salary to Rasuwa Flood Victims
Dhangadhi: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Khagraj Bhatta and ministers have decided to donate one month’s salary to assist citizens affected by the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa.
A meeting of the Provincial Council of Ministers held on Friday morning decided to provide one month’s salary of Chief Minister Bhatta and other provincial ministers as assistance to the flood-affected citizens of Rasuwa.
The meeting also decided to provide Rs. 20 million in financial assistance from the Sudurpaschim Provincial Government to the flood victims.
The provincial government said the decision was taken to support the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the natural disaster. The assistance from the salaries of the Chief Minister and ministers, along with the Rs. 20 million contribution from the provincial government, is expected to provide additional support for relief efforts in the flood-affected areas.
