Support Extended to Bhotekoshi Flood Victims Through Disaster Relief Fund

Far West: Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi, Kailali, has provided Rs. 1,111,111 for the relief and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the Bhotekoshi floods.

Hospital Chairman Tirtharaj Pant said the amount, collected from at least one day’s salary and allowances of employees, staff nurses, doctors and shareholders working at the hospital, has been deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund of the Government of Nepal.

He said the hospital also postponed its annual Haritalika Teej program and donated the amount allocated for the program to flood-affected citizens. Earlier, Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi had provided Rs. 311,111 in financial assistance.

Similarly, Navajivan Hospital in Dhangadhi has provided Rs. 222,222.

Hospital Executive Director Chakra Khadayat said the amount was deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support relief efforts for flood-affected citizens.

Chaitanya Pathshala has also provided Rs. 111,111 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, according to its Chairman Ganesh Prasad Joshi.

Similarly, Maya Metro Hospital has provided assistance worth Rs. 311,111, said hospital Chairman Dhirendra Saud.
