Prime Minister, Ministers to Donate One Month’s Salary to Natural Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu: Prime Minister and all members of the Council of Ministers will deposit one month’s salary and remuneration into the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to deposit the one month’s salary and remuneration of the Prime Minister and all ministers into the fund.

According to Government Spokesperson and Minister for Education Sasmit Pokharel, the amount will be deposited into the fund to support the rescue and relief of people affected by the floods and landslides that occurred along the Nepal-China border and the Bhotekoshi River on Bhadra 20.

The Cabinet decision states that the Prime Minister and all members of the Council of Ministers will deposit one month’s salary and remuneration into the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
