Four Absconding Defendants Arrested in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have arrested four absconding defendants wanted in various cases in Kanchanpur.

Police teams deployed from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Area Police Office, Jhalari, and Area Police Office, Gaddachauki, arrested the four defendants who had been absconding after being sentenced and fined by the court.

Those arrested are Lusthan Rana, who was fined Rs. 2,000 by the court on Jestha 10, 2073, in a vehicular homicide case; Krishna Diyal BK, who was fined Rs. 1,500 on Paush 1, 2081, in a check dishonor case; Khem Bahadur Kadal, who was sentenced to one month in prison and fined Rs. 263,600 on Paush 12, 2076, in a timber-cutting case; and Prem Singh Thagunna, who was sentenced to six years in prison on Baisakh 15, 2083, in a drug case.

According to Birendra Singh Thapa, Deputy Spokesperson and Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, all four arrested defendants have been produced before the District Court, Kanchanpur, for execution of the verdict.
