Kanchanpur consumer wins Rs 10 lakhs bumper gift on Rs 250 purchase

Dhangadhi: The results of the bumper gift for the first 15 days of Shrawan under the Taxpayer Incentive Gift Scheme have been announced.

A consumer who purchased goods worth Rs 250 from Shiva Krishna General Store in Punarbas, Kanchanpur, has won a bumper gift of Rs 1 million. The consumer with coupon number 007 315 254 493 received the prize after purchasing goods on Shrawan 7. The name of the winner has not been disclosed.

Similarly, 15 other consumers have won gifts of Rs 100,000 each.

The Inland Revenue Department announced the names of the gift winners during a program organized at the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.

The Taxpayer Incentive Gift Scheme has been introduced with the objective of encouraging consumers to take bills while making purchases and making the tax system more effective.
