Wooden bridge collapse in Darchula leaves one dead

Khalanga, Darchula: One person has died after falling into a river when a wooden bridge built over Gadkhola on the border of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-8 and 3 in Darchula collapsed.

Dhansingh Dhami, 56, a resident of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-8, was crossing the river through the bridge when it suddenly collapsed, causing him to fall into the river.

According to the District Police Office, Darchula, Dhami died in the incident.
