Election commission affirms polls will be held as scheduled, urges public not to be misled

Kathmandu: The Election Commission of Nepal has clarified that the elections will be conducted on the scheduled date and time, urging all concerned to remain confident and continue preparations.

Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari stated that even if certain elements attempt to disrupt the electoral process, such efforts will not succeed.

He called on the public not to be misled, noting that some candidates are still expressing doubts about the elections. Emphasizing that the polls will proceed as planned, he urged candidates and stakeholders to actively engage in campaigning and complete necessary preparations.
