Amargadhi municipality tops performance evaluation in Sudurpaschim province

Dhangadhi: Amargadhi Municipality of Dadeldhura, which was recognized as the best-performing local level in the country last year, has secured the top position in Sudurpaschim Province this year.

According to the performance evaluation results made public on Thursday by the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission, Amargadhi Municipality achieved the highest score among the province’s 88 local levels, scoring 77.79 points.

Apihimal Rural Municipality of Darchula ranked second with 76.14 points, while Saipal Rural Municipality of Bajhang secured third place with 74.06 points. Jorayal Rural Municipality of Doti stood fourth with 75.19 points, and Jayaprithi Municipality of Bajhang ranked fifth with 71.44 points.

Among all local levels in the province, Byans Rural Municipality of Darchula recorded the lowest score, placing at the bottom with 37.85 points.
