Ramesh Lekhak denied congress ticket in Kanchanpur-3
Dhangadhi: Former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will not be contesting the upcoming election in Kanchanpur-3, as the Nepali Congress has decided not to grant him a ticket. Lekhak, who faced accusations related to suppressing the Genji movement, has been replaced by Hari Bohra as the party’s candidate in the constituency.
Hari Bohra, a former president of Congress Kanchanpur, will now represent the party in Kanchanpur-3. Lekhak had previously contested and won the House of Representatives election in 2079 BS with 30,575 votes but has been excluded from this election following the party’s decision.
