Bajura: Warm clothes have been distributed to students of Rumdi Awika in Himali Rural Municipality-2, located in the northeastern Himalayan region of Bajura. The distribution was carried out by social worker Ganga Rai to help students cope with the cold while continuing their studies.

Students said that while the rainy season is not very cold, attending school during the winter becomes extremely difficult due to low temperatures. Pramila Rokaya, a student of Rumdi Awika, said that they used to feel very cold while going to school in winter. Expressing her happiness, she said that the distribution of warm clothes by social worker Rai, considering their problems, has brought them great relief.

Rokaya also mentioned that if stationery materials could be distributed to the children considering their economic hardships, it would be very helpful for them.

Ward Chairperson of Himali Rural Municipality-2, Ran Bahadur Budha, said that the warm clothes were distributed to the children of Rumdi Awika during the cold season in coordination with the Prameshwor Upa Mandila, with financial support from social worker Ganga Rai.
