Creative Godavari cultural festival 2082 concludes in Attariya

Attariya: The 'Creative Godavari Cultural Festival 2082', held in Attariya, Kailali since Poush 9, concluded on its 13th day on Monday with a performance by renowned artist Durgesh Thapa. The festival ended in a dignified and grand manner, according to the organizers, New Creative Youth Club.

At the closing ceremony, club president Nar Bahadur Rai expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the festival and noted that the significant audience turnout encourages organizing the festival in the coming years. He also informed that 5 percent of the proceeds from each ticket will be allocated to support helpless children and women.

The chief guest, Sudurpaschim Pragya Pratishthan Vice Chancellor Dr. T.N. Joshi, stated that the festival has made an important contribution to preserving local art, culture, and identity. Youth leader Lok Raj Pandey (Ago) suggested that the stage constructed for the festival should be maintained as a permanent venue.

This year’s festival featured 180 stalls, a Tharu village, a fun fair, and various cultural performances by both national and local artists.
