No applicants for Vice Chancellor post despite two notices

Dhangadhi: No candidate has applied for the post of Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Dasharath Chand University of Health Sciences even after two notices were published.

The recommendation committee for the Vice Chancellor post had first issued a notice from 16th Kartik to 30th Kartik, which was later extended until 5th Mangsir. However, no applications were received even within the extended deadline.

Stating that no one applied despite two advertisements, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mahabir Pun made a public appeal, urging any interested patriotic son of the Nepali mother who has served as a professor and doctor in the health sector with the aim of serving the nation to apply or contact him.

The ‘Shaheed Dasharath Chand University of Health Sciences Act, 2082’, passed by the Federal Parliament, was certified by President Ram Chandra Poudel on 4th Asad.
