Twelve injured in vehicle accident in Doti

Doti: Twelve passengers were injured when a Bolero jeep met with an accident in Doti.

The Bolero (No. 02001 Cha 1135), traveling from Dipayal to Goreli in Adarsh Rural Municipality, lost control on a dirt road and plunged about 100 meters in Adarsh Rural Municipality-4 at around 7 pm, according to the District Police Office, Doti.

The injured have been identified as Bhagwati BK, 21, of Adarsh Rural Municipality-4, Dehimadaun; her 1-year-old son Rajan BK; 5-year-old Ritika BK; 38-year-old Tika BK; 19-year-old Sher BK; 18-year-old Saraswati Ojha; 25-year-old Delhi Raj Ojha; 23-year-old Bishna Ojha; 4-year-old Dipesh Ojha; 28-year-old Mohan Bista; 35-year-old Lal Bahadur Bista; and 22-year-old Santosh Bista, all residents of Bhuwa in the same ward.

They are currently receiving treatment at JD Polyclinic in Kanisyaule. A nine-member police team led by Police Inspector Padam Raj Pant was deployed to rescue the injured.
