Memorandum submitted to Health minister urging full-scale hospital operation in Geta

Dhangadhi: A memorandum has been submitted to the Health Minister calling for the immediate operation of a full-capacity hospital at Shaheed Dasharath Chand National University of Health Sciences.

On Friday, Lograj Pandey and other representatives of the Shaheed Dasharath Chand National University of Health Sciences Concern and Coordination Committee met with Health and Population Minister Dr. Sudha Sharma at the ministry. They also submitted the memorandum to Health Secretary Dr. Bikash Devkota.

The committee has demanded the prompt operation of a 600-bed hospital in Geta. In addition, it has called for the swift commencement of medical studies and the appointment of a Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and other university officials, according to Coordinator Pandey.
