Man dies in Bajhang after being struck by falling tree

Bajhang: A man lost his life in Bajhang after being hit by a falling tree while cutting timber.

The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Bane Rawal of Ranigaun, Khaptadchanna Rural Municipality-2. According to the District Police Office, Bajhang, Rawal was cutting a pine tree at a location called Nim, approximately 2.5 kilometers west of his residence, when the tree struck him on Monday.

Police confirmed that Rawal died on the spot.
